Lancor and Mondragon Unibertsitatea reinforce their collaboration by promoting shared learning based on the NER philosophy

26 Mar 2026

As part of our relationship with the educational environment and the promotion of organizational models based on people, Lancor starred this 2026 in a new day of collaboration with Mondragon Unibertsitatea at the Bilbao AS Fabrik campus. On this occasion, José Luis Femia and Oliver Villasante were in charge of approaching the students of the Degree in Global Digital Humanities to share Lancor’s experience from the perspective of the NER Group philosophy.

During the talk, our colleagues delved into how we build a management model based on trust, transparency and self-management, pillars that guide the day-to-day running of our organization. Throughout the session, an open and sincere dialogue was generated, in which students and professionals explored how collaboration, innovation and people development become real drivers of transformation within an industrial company.

The students showed special interest in understanding how NER’s relational style materializes in practice: shared decision-making, teamwork, connection with the environment and the social commitment that characterizes our model. This exchange created a space for mutual learning, where the new generations also contributed their vision of the future of work and organizations.

As a continuation of this experience, a group of students later visited our plant in Gallarta. There they were able to see firsthand how Lancor is organized: self-managed teams, processes based on collaboration and spaces where people and their contributions play a leading role. This visit allowed them to contrast live the testimonies shared in the classroom with the reality of our day to day, reinforcing the coherence between what we say and what we do.

At Lancor, we firmly believe that the NER philosophy is meaningful when it is shared and lived in community. That is why we especially value these connections with the university environment, which allow us to continue learning, inspire each other and build bridges between education, business and society.
