Lancor reflects its commitment to a dignified and self-managed work environment

19 Mar 2026

At Lancor Motores Eléctricos we want to share a reflection that connects deeply with our way of understanding the company and with the organizational model we have built together with NER Group. Recently, NER published an article entitled “I have learned that a decent work environment is not decreed, it is built on a daily basis”, written by our coordinator Ander Butrón, where he expresses key learnings about the transition towards self-management and the sense of belonging to the NER project.

This testimony reflects a fundamental idea that is also part of Lancor’s DNA:
A dignified work environment does not arise from a standard, but from the relationships that we build every day among all the people in the organization.

A philosophy based on trust and on people

In his words, Ander Butrón emphasizes that the path towards self-management has been an intense process, full of personal and collective learning. An evolution that has reinforced values that we at Lancor consider essential:

  • trust,
  • transparency,
  • shared responsibility,
  • and people-based management.

The reflection published by NER Group points out that being part of the group means joining “a project with a purpose, where work has meaning beyond economic results”. This purpose is also what guides our day-to-day work at Lancor: to create a human, participative company committed to the environment.

A model that is not decreed: it is practiced

Since our transformation into a cooperative, at Lancor we have opted for an organizational style aligned with the New Relationship Style (NER), where people are the real center of decision making. This model inspires us to build relationships based on respect, dialogue, active listening and co-responsibility.

As stated in the original publication, this path is not always easy or immediate, but it is precisely in the moments of challenge that we learn the most and where the shared culture is strengthened.

To grow professionally and personally

NER Group’s testimony underlines that self-management not only transforms the way we work, but also the way we grow as individuals. This vision fully coincides with Lancor’s reality:

  • here we do not only develop professional competencies,
  • We also learn to collaborate, manage disagreements and build solutions together that benefit the entire organization.

The result is a stronger, more cohesive and more human company.

An invitation to continue building every day

At Lancor we deeply believe that a dignified work environment is built among all people, with every conversation, every decision and every step we take forward.
This note from NER Group reinforces and highlights the effort we make every day to make our organization a place where work makes sense, where there is coherence between values and practice, and where people can fully develop.

We will continue to move forward with the conviction that:
labor dignity, self-management and shared purpose are not declared… they are built together.
