The general objective of the project is the design, development and validation of a new range of asynchronous machines (35-65 kW) that electromagnetically optimizes the motor, by means of an in-depth study of the stator and rotor grooving, in order to reduce the prismatic volume of the active part by approximately 5% and to avoid noise and radial and torsional vibrations of electrical origin (excluding those produced by mechanical origin), which are harmful and annoying for the users of the installations. The project also includes the design and development of a tool for the optimization of a self-ventilated asynchronous motor from the thermal and mechanical point of view.
