POWER Project - Power Electrical System Technologies for Aviation Decarbonization

2023 - 2025

LANCOR 2000, S.COOP. participates in the development of the POWER – ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGIES FOR AVIATION DECHARBONIZATION project, whose objective is to investigate the enabling technologies necessary for the development of an electric propulsion system for sustainable aircraft. In addition to contributing to the aviation decarbonization process, POWER aims to cover:

  1. Functional and safety implications of state-of-the-art HV (high voltage) contactors;
  2. High efficiency high voltage conversion and distribution concepts;
  3. High efficiency and power density electrical machines; and
  4. Intelligent integration, architecture and topology of electric motors and modular MCU( Motor ControlUnit ) to reduce overall weight.

The total financed budget of the project amounts to €9,261,995.

LANCOR’s budget is €1,497,076, with a grant of €1,010,096.

This project has been subsidized by the CDTI, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, with file number 00160225 / PTAG-20231007 through the call for the year 2023 of the procedure for granting aid for the “Aeronautical Technology Program” of the State Program to Catalyze Innovation and Business Leadership of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
