The overall objective with which the FREEBIKE project was launched is the design and development of a new electric motor for electric sport bicycles, for location on wheel (Xc), improving the performance of current products. They will develop a 27% more compact and lighter machine (<1.5Kg – current weight 2.05Kg), with a reduction in consumption of about 47% and a 6.25% higher efficiency (inverter-motor-reducer), which will increase the autonomy of the electric drive.
