The main objective of the SPAIN2017 project is to increase the competitiveness of the Spanish automotive industry and position it strategically through the development of national technologies aimed at improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of transportation. The project will seek to develop a series of technologies that will enable the transition from the current fossil energy-based transport to the electric transport of the future. SPAIN2017 will propose technologies that are technically and economically viable in the short-medium term, with the aim of achieving market acceptance and fostering the development of technologies associated with electric vehicles.
LANCOR’s main objective at SPAIN2017 is to develop a high-efficiency 80 KW asynchronous traction motor with squirrel-cage rotor, whose cage slotting electromagnetically optimizes the motor by reducing the prismatic volume of the active part.
