At Lancor Motores Eléctricos, we understand that digital transformation is not only a technological necessity, but a natural evolution to remain competitive, sustainable and future-oriented. For this reason, we have been promoting an ambitious Digital Transformation Plan, led by our IT Information Systems team, which was recently featured in Empresa XXI magazine.
The interview details how this team has led a strategic reflection on the role of information systems in the organization, addressing key aspects such as data management, processes, people and technology, and aligning these elements with the overall objectives of the company. This process has included the application of methodologies from the Basque Artificial Intelligence Center (BAIC), such as the BAICERS approach, to integrate artificial intelligence in decision making and process optimization.
This exercise has been developed within the framework of the University of Deusto – Deusto Business School program, and has been co-financed by the Next Generation funds of the European Union, which has made it possible to involve multiple areas of the company in a cross-cutting, collaborative process with a long-term vision.
